Construction Survey Technician Location: Vienna, VA or Woodbridge, VA Shift: Monday - Friday, 8 AM-5 PM (Flexible) Type: Direct Hire About the company: Our Client delivers extraordinary land development solutions to commercial, residential, and government clients in the Metro DC area. Job description: We're seeking a motivated and dependable Construction Survey Technician to join the growing surveying and land development team in the DC Metro Area. The ideal candidate will assist with construction stakeout, topographic, boundary, and as-built surveys for residential, commercial, and government projects throughout Virginia, Maryland and D.C. Responsibilities: - Prepare survey drawings and maps consisting of layouts, arrangements and flow sheets from field data, sketches, existing utility mapping and verbal and written instructions from general engineering and survey information. - Complete accurate mathematical calculations, based on construction plans and other survey documents. - Conduct property research. - Prepare mete and bound descriptions. - Comprehend legal documents, deeds, and plats to ensure accuracy on each survey. - Develop topographical surfaces, construction stakeout layouts, and grade sheets.
