Busy Ornamental metal fabrication shop looking for experienced fabricator with experience in MIG and TIG welding on ferrous and non-ferrous metals.

Responsibilities Include:

• Manufacture and fabricate finished metal products.
• Install and repair various ornamental metal, equipment and components.
• Follow architectural and shop drawings to meet product requirements.
• Accurately understand and execute designs;
• • Calculate material measurements to specifications.
• Meet with Project Managers and GC's to coordinate fabrication and installation
• Lead crews of 2-8 on site installations and/or shop projects
• Consult with team members during life of project.
• • Meeting with Project Managers during approval phase prior to fabrication
  • Full understanding of scope of work
  • Efficiently delegate duties to shop employees for fabrication
  • Represent company on site during installation phase.
  • Discuss and troubleshoot with team members and clients.

Experience:

• Previous experience in fabrication shop, or related field.
• Understanding and implementing welding procedures
• Operating welding machines
• • Use of additional machinery preferred: Brake, Shear, Plasma table, etc.
• Reading blueprints and schematics
